Thought I'd take a moment to remember the greatest, humblest opera-singer of our time.
The tenor Luciano Pavarotti, 71 years old, died at 5 am this morning...
Time has stopped in the world of opera.
I remember his thick beard and how I used to giggle at his appearance *smile* and I remember his amazing voice - he really was the greatest!
His technique was outstanding and his tone...well, need I say more? =) I know that everyone who still/once appreciate/d Pavarotti's singing will mourn him today, it is a sad day.
But everyone has to die... cliché, I know, but ain't it the truth?
Rest in Peace L. Pavarotti, your name will be remembered forever!
